Sigh I can't believe how badly these things scan!
Had a random attack of the sketchies during the lunar new year weekend (4 day break FTW), and decided to give the rest of the Avatar: The Last Airbender cast a little lovin'. Yes, there is life beyond Zutara. I admit!
Finally, bringing together the two things I realize I like drawing: Toph's hair, and Aang's hairless head!
Toph sees with her feet, but nothing's stopping her from using some good ol-fashioned fingerwork on her old friend (or more-than-friend...?) either. "It's how I know you best," she says.
As an afterword to this sketch series, I find drawing grown-up Toph and Aang more exciting than drawing grown-up Katara and Zuko. Maybe because the former two are so young in the series - you can imagine them growing in a million different ways post-show. Katara and Zuko are...more...THERE already. So a little less scope for imagination, y'know? I'm rambling!
May clean up this into something proper if I can get my nose out of some more Zutara art. And then this will duly be bundled off to scraps.

I totally agree with you about the nature of Zutara and Taang. Taang had has a much larger area for speculation, since neither Aang nor Toph were fully developed during the period of the show. Katara and Zuko, however, seem to have done all the growing up that they will. ^^
